02 / THE PROJECT, STEP BY STEP

Understanding what is being built. And where we are in the process.

Canette Québec was born from a simple observation: manufacturing cans in Quebec could bring the supply closer to Canadian beverage producers.

01

The need

A significant portion of the cans used in Canada come from external supply chains, despite Quebec's aluminum industry.

02

From idea to validation

Initial analyses have provided a better understanding of the market, the needs of beverage producers, and production technologies.

03

The project is taking shape

A modern factory intended for the Canadian market, with a planned capacity of 600 million to 2 billion cans per year and three priority formats.

04

Pre-feasibility study · in progress

The current approach aims to validate the technological choices, the infrastructure, the investment costs and the conditions for implementation.

05

The next step

Structure the financing, deepen the engineering and develop commercial and industrial partnerships.

03 / THE VALUE CHAIN

Bringing production closer to the Canadian market

A clear role in a supply chain that Canette Québec wishes to help strengthen.

01 / RESOURCE

Quebec aluminum industry

World-class industrial expertise in Quebec.

02 / PLANNED TRANSFORMATION

Canette Québec

Develop a local capacity for manufacturing aluminium cans.

03 / MARKET

Producers

An additional Canadian source of supply, closer to the brewers and bottlers.

Aluminium can be recycled repeatedly. A shorter and more circular value chain is at the heart of the project's ambition.

THE PROJECT IN BRIEF

A planned capacity of 600 million to 2 billion cans per year.

Three priority formats. A modern factory intended for the Canadian market. A project currently in the pre-feasibility stage.
